Event Details

Opportunity

Stakeholders from the Iringa Region and other areas are invited to participate. The primary objective of this festival is to honor, promote, support, preserve, and strengthen the cultures, traditions, and customs of the ethnic communities of the Iringa Region nearby areas. 

Kukaye Football Tournament

Kukaye Festival will have a single elimination knockout tournament where participating teams will play to get a shot at the price

  • Structure: Direct knockout from start to final 

Overview

KUKAYE Festival is a cultural event showcasing the traditions and customs of various ethnic groups in the Southern Highlands (Iringa and neighboring regions). The festival aims to engage various stakeholders in preserving the cultures, traditions, and customs of the ethnic groups of the Iringa region. This year, the festival is scheduled to take place on October 30–31, 2026, attracting at least 3,000 participants.
